Trying to get a three year old to eat something that’s actually good for them or heck sometimes even eat at all for that matter, is not for the weak! I’m sure some of you can sympathize with me here. Our Grandson Isaiah is the pickiest eater I’ve ever known. I mean this kid won’t even eat macaroni and cheese! What kid doesn’t eat macaroni and cheese? Then sometimes just when you think you’ve lost the battle you come across something that’s good for them and they enjoy! For Isaiah it’s belVita Cinnamon Brown Sugar Breakfast Biscuits.
Last Friday we decided to stop at Meijers to pick up a few things. They have a great produce section with just about any type of fruit, vegetable or herb you could want, including organic and ethnic products. On my list were Ugly Fruit and blood oranges, two of my favorites. Unfortunately they hadn’t received either yet so we will just head back this weekend.
They did have their belVita sampling event and since I had been asked to give belVita Breakfast Biscuits a try, this was the perfect time! I met a very nice woman, Wilma, who was running the sampling event. She mentioned that she had sold a lot of product that day and that the favorite of most seemed to be the blueberry. I was surprised when Isaiah wanted to give them a try as well. See, not only is he picky but he refuses to try anything that he’s not familiar with unless it is covered in chocolate. He decided to try the belVita Cinnamon Brown Sugar Breakfast Biscuits and I was surprised again when he actually ate the whole sample and asked for more!
We ended up finding a display close to the sampling event at the end of the beverage aisle and then plenty more on the shelf in the cracker aisle. There’s a large variety and sizes to choose from. We ended up purchasing three different boxes. Not having to battle the three year old to get him to eat something good for him to start off his day…belVita Morning Win. #MeijerMorningWin!!
Have you tried belVita Breakfast Biscuits? What are your favorite kind?
