Castaway Bay Day Passes Giveaway

If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my barrage of photos from Castaway Bay this past weekend.  I am so excited to have been chosen as a Cedar Point Mom Blogger for this year!  As a part of being chosen we were invited to a Blogger Event where we were able to spend the night at Castaway Bay, this past weekend.  Yay, we were so excited and we had never been there so that made it even more fun.

The minute we pulled up to Castaway Bay the excitement began to mount.  We could see from the exterior that it is a very nice, family friendly place that is well taken care of.  Once we walked in we quickly realized that it wasn’t only the outside that was welcoming and well taken care of.  There is a tropical theme throughout that is very appealing to adults and children alike.  Oh, and did I mention it’s 82 degrees in there?  You may want to take something to wear that is not made to survive the Polar Vortex!

There are several different room types and they all offer different features but I have to say the one we were in was pretty amazing.  The best part was the large balcony which overlooks the water.  It was too cold to spend any time out there but the view was beautiful.

Look at the ducks out there.  Crazy things!

The resort features a total of 237 hotel rooms and suites including family-oriented units, a 38,000-square-foot indoor waterpark loaded with water activities for all ages, fitness center, 6,000-square-foot state-of-the-art arcade, a craft and child activity center, three restaurants, retail shops, adjacent marina and space for meetings, group events and birthday parties.  Everything you need for a great weekend family getaway!

The waterpark is a five-story structure featuring a vaulted wood ceiling that covers a natural setting of palm trees, huts, inland lagoons and plenty of wet and wild water adventure.  A Toddler’s Tide Pool, Wave Pool and Tropical Tube Slides are just a few of the activities featured.

I came back with a gift for one of you too!  How awesome is that?  I was given four day passes to offer to one lucky reader – a $116 value!  If you’ve been to Castaway Bay you know how much fun their waterpark is for adults and children.  If you haven’t been well then you’re going to love it! It’s especially welcoming during these incredibly cold days we’re having this year.
